UI/UX Designer

Job Summary: 

We are looking for an experienced Product Designer with a minimum of 3 years industry experience in UIUX, Product Design or equivalent, to join our in-house product team to improve overall product and customer experience.  

 

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas. 

  • Explore design patterns and generate a diverse range of innovative concepts. 

  • Develop visually appealing designs that align with the company's brand and design guidelines, while paying attention to typography, layout and visual hierarchy. 

  • Has conceptual familiarity with information architecture and cross-platform flows. Considers potential states (errors, successes, dead-ends) in their work. 

  • Conduct research, and usability testing, and gather feedback to continually enhance the user experience. 

  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data and QA to implement and refine designs. 

  • Shares work early and often and seeks out constructive feedback from the design team and stakeholders. 

  • Play an active role in other designers’ work—from research to asset production. 

  • Continue to learn about the different core design capabilities and practice them. 

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UX trends, techniques, and technologies, incorporating them into designs as appropriate. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction 

  • 3+ years of experience in UI/UX Design, preferably in the financial industry or a related field. 

  • Strong portfolio highlighting examples of effective UI/UX across digital platforms. 

  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Lottie Animation, Microsoft office, or Adobe is a plus. 

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred. 

  • A passion for user-centered design and a desire to advocate for the user in all aspects of product development.
