Product Owner for SME Portal

As the Product SME Portal and Solution, the job holder will be responsible for the product management, development and high-level design of the SME Portal and Solution system including the specification & lifecycle management. The SME portal is a solution that communicates with a variety of internal and external system that includes DNQR, Payment Gateway, Instore Payment, Banking, Identity and other solution The Product SME Portal and Solution serves as a product expert cutting across numerous product type in the Organization.

 

  • Act as CEO of product and product manager responsible for end to end product life cycle management on SME Portal and Solution system which includes conducting competitive analysis & market research for product and revenue improvement
  • Build and enhance SME Portal and Solution system together with engineering / developer team. Responsible for workable use cases and cohesive system that can support such used cases. Design quality user flow and top-notch customer experience. Apply design thinking process and methodology
  • Synergize and work with different Product Manager and system such as DNQR system, Payment Gateway system and Banking system to streamline the wholeecosystem for SME Portal and Solution
  • Accountable to work with partners and merchants in defining and tweaking the SME Portal and Solution system to match market demands and increase take up rate. The challenge is how the solution able to help our partners / merchants to drive more end consumers and successful business transactions to them
  • Understanding of the general market and features demand for SME Portal and Solution. Understand the commercial and financial viability of the product and be able to comprehensively model the financial success of the products
  • Write epics, user stories and participate in daily startup to ensure the completion and accurate test result of a sprint outcome from developers. Ensuring User Acceptance Test is conducted and meet requirements. Gatekeeper for product go live in production and Go-To-Market strategy
  • Work directly with our Sales / Business Development teams and customers to develop business models based on the technical landscape and the problems that they face in delivering to customers. Support them in expanding the penetration and reach of your products. Provide product technical expertise to support sales and business development activities
  • Work closely within the Agile squad that includes the Customer Service, Onboarding and Billing/ Finance teams, providing detailed requirements, plan and guidance. This include customer service expectation, product construct, billing format and revenue settlement flow
  • Develop, manage and communicate the product strategy and roadmap to both internal and external key stakeholders including for marketing purposes 

 

Job Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience working in product development and management.
  • Any experience involving SME solutions especially involving consumer facingtechnology and/or product development roles is a plus
  • Well versed in the knowhow or inner working system and lingo/jargon of SME payment business and value-added services that is perceived valuable by the merchants is a plus
  • Experience working in product management of API, SaaS/PaaS based products and solutions. Understanding of SME Portal and Solution business & engineering environments and solutions would be an advantage
  • Preferred experience working with Digital Financial Service (DFS) or any merchant facing solution ie payment etc
