Head of Talent and Culture
Job and Context:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Talent and Culture to lead our organization's efforts in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. Reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive talent development and engagement strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Need to Do:
- Develop and implement a strategic talent development plan that addresses the organization's current and future talent needs.
- Lead the design and delivery of talent development programs, including leadership development, performance management, succession planning, and learning initiatives.
- Analyze talent metrics and data to measure the effectiveness of talent development and engagement initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Partner with HR Leads, HR Business Partners and functional leaders to identify talent gaps, assess development needs, and implement solutions to build a pipeline of high-potential employees.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to create a positive work environment and enhance employee satisfaction, morale, and retention.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and implement employee recognition programs, rewards and incentives, and other initiatives to promote a culture of appreciation and recognition.
- Lead the implementation of employee engagement surveys and other feedback mechanisms to assess employee sentiment and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent development and engagement to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry associations to leverage resources and expertise in talent development and engagement.
Need to Know:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in talent development, employee engagement, or related HR roles, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing talent development and engagement initiatives that drive business results.
- Strong understanding of talent management principles, performance management processes, and learning and development best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to improve talent outcomes.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
