Digital Marketing Associate

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marketing Brand & Communications Senior Associate to drive an effective & innovative social media strategy and execute creative content specifically for Boost Digital Bank. This role is critical in enhancing our brand presence, social engagement, product awareness & education, and supporting our business objectives through effective social media campaigns & content. The ideal candidate should have a track record in social media management, an understanding of the financial industry, and a keen eye on market & social platform trends.

 

SCOPE & AUTHORITY

  1. Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with our brand’s goals, market trends, and target audience within approved budget.
  2. Content Creation: Oversee the creation of engaging, high-quality content tailored to various social media platforms, ensuring consistency with brand voice and messaging.
  3. Campaign Management: Plan, implement, and manage social media campaigns to drive brand awareness, product education, financial literacy, customer acquisition, and engagement.
  4. Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media performance using analytics tools, track key metrics, and provide regular reports with actionable insights to optimize strategy and campaigns to key stakeholders.
  5. Community Engagement: Foster a positive online community by actively engaging with followers, addressing inquiries, and managing online reputation.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, PR, and customer service to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment with broader marketing efforts.
  7. Market Trends: Stay updated on the latest social media trends, marketing innovations, competitor movement and industry best practices to keep our strategies cutting-edge and effective.
  8. Compliance: Ensure all social media activities comply with industry regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies, particularly related to financial services.

 

The role may from time-to-time include tasks which are not listed above.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications related to social media & digital marketing are a plus.

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in digital or social media marketing, with a focus on the financial sector or digital banking preferred.
  • Have experience in dealing with marketing agencies and teams
  • Experience / understanding of online e-commerce engineering environments and solutions.
  • Experience / understanding of business environments and solutions would be an advantage.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Intermediate user of MS Office programs. (Excel, Powerpoint and Word)
  • Familiarity with project management software and/or analytical tools such as SQL or Tableau would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to cooperate and engage with a wide variety of resources, including upper management and stakeholders, clients, and other departments.
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem solving capabilities.
  • Ability to remain positive and encouraging during stressful situations.

  • Independence & Problem Solving Skills – to be able to identify challenges and be resourceful to problem solve them with collaborative discussions and minimal escalations
