Role Overview
The Credit Administration Manager will lead the digital credit operations team and oversee the full loan lifecycle—from application intake to disbursement. This role ensures operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and a frictionless customer experience, while collaborating closely with product, technology, and risk teams to drive innovation in lending.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of credit administrators, promoting agility, ownership, and continuous improvement
- Oversee digital loan workflows via Boost Bank Berhad’s core lending platform, ensuring applications are complete, verified, and processed in real time
- Coordinate digital loan closings, including document generation, e-signatures, and automated fund disbursement
- Maintain accurate, secure, and compliant loan records in accordance with Bank Negara Malaysia regulations and internal policies
- Collaborate with customer experience and support teams to resolve inquiries and ensure smooth onboarding and servicing
- Monitor loan performance, repayments, and delinquencies using analytics tools; escalate risk cases and support collections strategy
- Generate operational and risk reports for senior management, identifying trends and opportunities for process optimization
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in loan administration or credit operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Experience in digital banking, fintech, or agile environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with digital lending platforms (e.g., Mambu, Backbase), eKYC processes, and financial softwareProficiency in Excel, Power BI, or SQL is an advantage
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Solid understanding of Bank Negara Malaysia guidelines, AML/CFT policies, and digital banking frameworks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
