Card Operations Manager

To oversee day-to-day Cards and CASA operations for Boost Bank, ensuring efficient processing, robust risk controls, and full compliance with regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end card and CASA operations across reconciliation, settlement, dispute management related to cards and CASA account management and monitoring. This role requires

strong leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to build scalable processes in a fast-growing digital bank.

 

Card and CASA Account Operations

  • Manage card issuance, activation, cardholder setup, PIN generation, and replacement processes, reconciliation, settlement and other related processes
  • Monitor and optimise card lifecycle activities including renewals, blocking/unblocking, hotlisting, and dispute management.
  • Ensure smooth handling of chargebacks, retrieval requests, dispute resolution, and fraud-related workflows in collaboration with Fraud Risk and Customer Support teams within SLA
  • Manage end to end CASA management – account open/closure/ block, customer account management, reimbursement, reconciliation management
  • Responsible for efficiency measures, process improvement and automation to ensure cost effective and scalable operations.

 

Risk & Compliance

  • Implement and maintain account and card controls to ensure compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia guidelines, internal policies, and audit requirements.
  • Identify operational risks, perform root-cause analysis, and implement mitigating measures.
  • Ensure proper documentation, record-keeping, and audit trail for all credit activities.
  • Ensure compliance with card scheme rules (Visa/Mastercard/other schemes) and BNM requirements.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • 6–10 years of relevant experience in card operations, preferably within banking, digital banking, or fintech.
  • Strong understanding of card operations processes and systems such as MasterCard, PayNet etc.
  • Familiarity with BNM regulations, credit bureau processes, and industry best practices.
