Get to Know the Role
As our Collection Manager, you'll take full ownership of the collection process for SME products, from pre-collection strategies to post-due actions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, spearhead collection initiatives, and represent the company in legal matters when necessary. If you're goal-oriented, results-driven, and passionate about optimizing processes, we want to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement collection strategies for SME portfolios.
- Oversee and periodically review standard collection procedures.
- Liaise closely with the Business team on potential overdue accounts.
- Execute legal actions such as summons or litigation, where applicable.
- Conduct field visits for verification and case resolutions.
- Represent the company in ongoing legal matters with the Legal team.
- Manage external collection partners for efficient case resolution.
- Track and report on key collection metrics and audit results.
Job Requirements & Criteria
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in collections within fintech, leasing, or banking sectors, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Solid understanding of litigation procedures and legal recovery processes related to collections.
- Experience in working with external parties such as collection agencies would be an advantage.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Comfortable with out-of-town travel.
- Resilient, analytical, and goal-focused mindset.
